When I take photos of a family I do not seek to just take their photos. I want to step into their journey with them. I want to feel how they feel. I want to know more about their story than where they bought their photo wardrobe. I want to know their why. Why they want these photos of their family. Is it because everyone else is doing it? Is it because you want to load up your social media with pretty photos? Do you want to brag? Or do you have a deeper meaning behind wanting to capsulize your family forever? I am not sure about you but I know for me tomorrow is never promised. Time is fleeting like a tiny red balloon let go by a child. Heather is one of the strongest ladies I have met to date. She was diagnosed with breast cancer earlier this year and would you ever know it? Heck no. She has beat it! She is a light! She is a beautiful soul, she is sweet, kind and caring, her laugh is contagious and her family is beautiful. Heather has learned through this that what you do makes a difference, and you have to decide what kind of difference you want to make. She wants people to know to be awesome, stand out, do what you love and kick some ass while doing it!
